CONEXPO 2023: REMdevice presents its bestsellers at Las Vegas!

Over 139,000 construction industry professionals from 133 countries flocked to Las Vegas, once again testifying to CONEXPO’s standing as one of North America’s largest and most important trade show events.

The organizers’ official figures put the number of exhibitors at 2,400 from 36 countries, including our own REMdevice team, attending as part of the ICE Italian delegation promoting Italian businesses abroad.

 

We are very happy with the business relationships we managed to establish during the event by taking advantage of the various spaces designed for people to come together: on the REMdevice stand, of course, and OEM exhibitors’ stand, as well as through informal networking opportunities.

So it was an excellent chance to introduce REM device products and technologies to the American market, to meet a number of distributors, and to get a feel for the latest trends in the industry.

We showcased all our product families to cover virtually any application in the realm of construction: T series and Brick handheld remote controls, and Pail and Genesis joystick stations.

And should the application require more specificity, there is always the REMdevice MOVE platform, which allows you to add analogue signals (4-20mA, 0-10V, PWM, Danfoss, Resistive), as well as signals over a communication bus.

BATTERY BOARD AND INDUCTION CHARGER

Focusing on durability and reliability in hostile environments like construction (dust, dirt, moisture), REMdevice has produced an induction charging system that keeps the electronics completely isolated from the outside, and hence less prone to damage from atmospheric elements. This is why it comes with a 3-year warranty, including the rechargeable batteries.

These systems have a battery life of 30/35 hours with a full charge, which takes 5 hours (a partial charge takes 30 minutes and gives you 4/5 hours of operation).

 

T SERIES AND THE BATTERY THAT LASTS FOR UP TO 1000 HOURS

Another piece of REMdevice tech is incorporated into the T series, a remote control that needs no charging: the consumption of its built-in electronics is so low that with a high-capacity (non-rechargeable) battery, it can work for up to 1000 hours.

A lot of applications call for the operator to work for about 2/3 hours a day, and this means the T series can keep going for more than 3 years.

 

CABINET-TO-CABINET APPLICATION

REMdevice is one of the few players to have extended the possible applications of radiofrequency controls, allowing communication between different cabinets.

UTC/URC (20 digital channels with simplex communication) and DCS10 (10 digital channels half-duplex) can safely (PLd for emergency stop) establish a radio link between different points of a building without having to lay cables.
