This is a digial omnidirectional anemometer used to measure wind speed on lifting machinery.
It has three cup sensors with a vertical rotating spindle.
The spindle and bearings are made from stainless steel.

There are two programmable thresholds for alarms (factory setting: 50km/h and 72 km/h)

This version of the digital omni directional anemometer Wind DIN 2 measures wind speed in miles per hour.

There are two programmable thresholds for alarms (factory setting: 31 mph and 45 mph).

The sensor is supplied with a standard 1,5 m (~5 ft) cable together with a stainless steel fixing bracket and screws.

Installation:

Attach the sensor to the machine using the bracket supplied.
Position it in an area away from other parts of the machine.

To test the unit is working press the two buttons on the ModulBox at the same time.
This confirms whether the signals have been properly connected and that the unit has been correctly wired.

Model: XVB 48

Based on the XVB 24 Autonomous Anemometer but with a higher maximum voltage of 48 V

Installation:

Power supply of 24 V or 48 V required (depending on model) and one wire connection. For best performance place the sensor away from other working parts of the machine. Attach the sensor to either a horizontal surface using the straight support, or to a vertical surface using right-angle support available on request. Once connected and switched on, carry out an operational test; check the lights flash and the alarm sounds.
